Today, his post hit home big time – How does pointless research get published?. I spend a lot of energy in my “real life job” reading medical journal articles and I read the “notices” about research studies on the internet with freakishly horrifying regularity. I also spend a lot of energy getting things ready to be published, edited so that journals and lawyers will approve their publication, and frankly ripping my hair out at the asinine comments and requests those entail.
Today’s post started out with his Sunday hot tub reading post… Laugh out loud if you do anything meaningful (or if you’re just trying to do something meaningful) in the medical information world.
